1. It’s an Eyesore!
Junk in any location is not fun to look at. In our homes or in our yards, even a small pile of junk can bring down the feeling of the whole setting. Whether it is piles of branches, leaves, broken toys or discarded furniture in the yard, or worn-out furnishings and unused possessions in the home, there is no easier way to quickly improve the look and feel of an area than to simply get rid of the junk!
A few of the dangers posed by junk are tripping hazards, fire hazards, danger of cuts, scrapes, splinters, and more! The National Safety Council says the first thing to do to prevent trips and falls is to remove clutter. There is no quicker way to reduce many of these safety concerns than to simply have the junk and clutter removed!
Stockpiling junk in the closets, garages, or yards of our residences creates an environment friendly to bugs, spiders, scorpions, and other vermin. In the right environments, even bacteria and germs can grow and thrive. For sanitary purposes and the safety of your family, it’s time to clean up!
Bonus point: FREEDOM!
Junk takes up valuable space in our homes and yards. Imagine the things you could be doing with that space! Instead of a pile of junk in the backyard, you could plant a lawn, a garden, or create your dreamed-of retreat! Instead of a garage full of unused items, boxes of never-used things, broken sports equipment, and anything else that has piled up over time, you could park your car or create an extra living space or area to start the hobbies you've always wanted to have! Freedom can be found when we find the strength to let go of those things which have been holding us and our homes hostage.
Brandon was inspired to start a junk removal business in the summer of 2015 when he helped a family member clean out her garage that consisted of some 20 years worth of junk. The freedom that was restored to that home changed the way the home felt, how it was used, and relieved the homeowner of a burden that had been lingering for several years. He is excited to help homeowners in the valley regain the freedom currently being held hostage by junk!
